OnGrowing Works was contacted by a client who wanted to design and build a low-maintenance yard for their family. The team worked on a variety of projects in both the house’s front and back yards to make a space perfect for all family members. By the time the yard was complete, there were features suitable for all ages, allowing the family to enjoy their space for years to come.

We were hired to:

• Minimize the existing lawn base and maximize an adult courtyard
• Install a section of synthetic turf for a kids’ play space
• Build a temporary trailer storage pad
• Construct a series of brick columns with a custom-crafted blacksmithed metal detail between the brick
• Design and create an outdoor kitchen and living/relaxing space
• Craft kid-friendly cedar boxes for planting and growing food
• Design and construct a brick water feature to add to the yard’s ambiance
• Create an overhead structure with patio heaters and landscape lighting that matched the home’s existing architecture

By utilizing our team of expert craftspeople, construction professionals and design specialists, OnGrowing Works was able to bring this client’s vision to life and exceed their expectations. The yard is now well equipped with multiple sitting and living spaces for lounging, as well as various interactive play spaces that provide ample learning opportunities for the young family members. In addition to the space’s functionality, it’s also aesthetically pleasing and matches the look and feel of the client’s home to a tee.
